  13. is finally being recognized. The 800,000 survivors in
  14. Canada are a living testament to the fact that cancer
  15. is not always a death sentence. Thanks to medical
  16. advances in diagnosis and treatment, we can
  17. confidently look beyond the disease process to life
  18. after cancer.
